I am writing to thank you for your interest in the above Executive Director positions.
The Bernicia Group is based in the North East of England and believes in the provision of great homes and services. We own and manage over 14,000 properties and provide housing and care and support services for single people, couples, families and older residents.
There are also two commercial trading subsidiaries in the Group; Kingston Property Services which provides block, estate and facilities management services to the private residential and commercial sectors and Livingspaces UK Limited which provides services and advice relating to property development, sales and the residential private rented sector.
In May we will launch our new five year Corporate Strategy, “Housing People, Helping People”. This sets out what we want to achieve during the next phase of Bernicia’s development and importantly the type of organisation that Bernicia is, and will become.
We are to increase the number of new homes that we are to develop, implement new models of service delivery based on our digitalisation plans, we are to develop our in-house maintenance provider and invest in our commercial companies to support their growth ambitions and increase their profitability.
To achieve our ambitious plans, we have restructured our Executive Team and have created two new Executive Director positions. This restructure will strengthen our senior management team and help us deliver the challenging targets we have set ourselves.
There are exciting times ahead for our business. We have the scale and capacity to make a significant and positive difference to our residents and neighbourhoods, combined with real local focus and accountability. We are held in high regard locally, regionally and nationally and are on the map for all the right reasons.
We are looking for Executive Directors who share our commitment, values and ethos. We need people who can lead and inspire their team, contribute strongly to our corporate development and forge effective relationships with our partners as we continue to grow.
